Summer is around the corner and I can't wait! Quite a few of our 4000 WP'ers are getting married over summer, see the full member list here.

Traditionally a time of holidays, and of course honeymoons, summer is definitely a time to explore. Whether you get away for a weekend in the country, or a couple of weeks abroad, there is nothing quite like 'summer hols'. A b2b recently was asking if anyone had been to Cuba, Mexico or the Dominican Republic on their honeymoon - all of which sound like an adventure to me! You can read the post here.

I would love to know where you are going for your honeymoon or holiday so have started a topic here. It is a great place to find suggestions from other members and share information so you can plan the best trip possible.

This is me in Italy with Lyds and David. They got married in France and then off we went to pasta and red wine heaven! Both Italy and France are so romantic!





Later on last year I also went to Kenya and Tanzania with Barbara and Keith. This is me with the wildebeest:

Next stop was Mauritius with Jo and David. It is a beautiful place to relax, go diving and exploring. Here I am at the waterfalls:

I was so well behaved that Jo and David took me to Las Vegas with them as well (but they said I am too young to gamble for money so I played for smarties). We had an amazing trip to the Grand Canyon, so named because it is grand and is a canyon.

Actually, I just got back from Thailand with Elisabeth and Chris. They got me tipsy at the wedding:

He replied 'you can't afford not to'.

He was so right. Even if it is just a weekend break away, why not try and find time to recharge your batteries and explore somewhere new this summer?
