The imaginative ways in which different members build their personal WeddingPaths continue to amaze us! Photos, countdown tickers, messages from loved ones, dedication pages and details of the big day all build up a vivid picture of a couple’s wedding and planning. If you’ve put time, effort and care into creating your WeddingPath over the course of your planning, you might be interested to hear that you’ll soon be able to order it on CD as a special memento. More of that later…
Here’s one reason we want to give you the chance to order your WeddingPath for keeps. As we continue to grow, we need more server space to store new WeddingPaths, and will therefore be limiting the lifespan of each free WeddingPath as of 1 Jan 2007. Please rest assured that, even after this date, every WeddingPath will remain free and fully hosted until six full months after its creators’ wedding day. For those WeddingPathers who are already married, your WeddingPath will remain hosted free until 1 July 2007.
We will, of course, remind you in good time of your WeddingPath’s post-wedding expiry date. Your three choices at this point will be: a) let your WeddingPath expire (remember that this will be long after your wedding day); b) order your WeddingPath on CD to keep as a memento; c) extend the time-span of your WeddingPath for an additional year, for a charge of £9.99. Remember, everyone will still have a free wedding website for the duration of their wedding planning and beyond.
If you’re interested in ordering your WeddingPath on CD, you’ll be able to do so. Regulars to the forum have been asking us about this option for quite a while, and it’ll be available later this year. A lasting reminder of all the ingredients that went into your big day, it’ll make a great gift for your parents or members of your wedding party. Ordering pre-wedding and post-wedding copies will remind you of how far you’ve come or, if you’re planning to radically amend your Path or change to a different template design, you might like a pre-changes CD to compare with the final version.
