You sweep it over your face and it looks as though you’ve been photographed with a soft focus lens, hence the name. I use it over my usual make-up as a highlighter/blusher. I wouldn’t go back to normal blushers/bronzers now. It is a bit pricey but I did get a free brush with it and it lasts forever because you don’t need to use much.
