San Gimignano is a beautiful medieval walled city located between the stunning historic cities of Siena and Florence in Tuscany.

Perched atop a hill with 360-degree views of the luscious countryside, the city offers the perfect combination of character and elegance. Its famous towers can be seen from miles around and create the ideal backdrop for weddings.

Catholic ceremonies take place in the beautiful frescoed church, while the medieval Palazzo in the main square, which dates back over 800 years, is available for civil ceremonies.

After the ceremony, treat your guests to an intimate reception at Villa Pallero – a luxury 500-year-old farmhouse nestled amid the rolling foothills of nearby San Gimignano.

The Villa offers comfortable accommodation for up to 17 guests with a choice of five stunning self-catering rustic cottages or apartments, sleeping between two and five in each.

Each cottage or apartment has its own loggia or terrace, from which guests can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Facilities at the Villa include a magnificent Roman bath house-style heated indoor pool, as well as a sauna, solarium and fitness suite – although you’re more likely to be enjoying the breathtaking views from the sun deck than worrying about the treadmill.

Villa Pallero can be hired exclusively for weddings for a minimum of three nights from around £1500 on a self-catering basis from November to March.

The Villa provides its own in-house caterers who offer a four-course wedding breakfast for 17 people from around £60 per head, subject to season and availability.
