Best known for spurring on the efforts in the WeddingPath diet club, the "Hard Talk" questions this week are answered by Alana. In the other seat is our own Margo T-Monkey.
Margo - How are you feeling?
Alana - Today I am feeling not as good as I did yesterday because yesterday it was still the weekend and now it is Monday morning!
Margo - I get like this on Mondays too - I find that a HUGE bar of Cadbury's helps, followed by a trip to see the Dreamboys.
Margo - What first attracted you to your partner?
Alana - I think what first attracted me to my h2b was his smile and his friendly and relaxed nature.
Margo - If you won £10,000 what would you do?
Alana - If I had £10,000 to spend I would buy me and h2b a new car because we both drive old bangers at the moment.
Margo - I know how to hotwire Suj's Toyota Corolla - we should talk after this interview?
Margo - What was the first record you ever bought?
Alana - It was Natalie Imbruglia, Left of the middle
Margo - Rob in the WP office keeps playing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" - I think I might go out and buy that one...
Margo - If money was no object, which dress would you buy?
Alana - I would have a custom made Vera Wang but probably in a similar style to the one I have now but with thousands of hand sewn swarovski crystals.
Margo - What's your favourite apple?
Alana - My favourite apple is a Braeburn, I had one not 10 minutes ago, yum
[we could expect no less from a fitness fashionista! I think Margo feels a bit outdone here because she refuses to reply]
Margo - Which of your vendors would you name and praise so far?
Alana - It would be princess poppy tiaras for my lovely necklace, and also not technically a vendor but I owe alot of my fantastic stretching of our budget to ebay, I have had my bridesmaid dresses, tiara, favours, table decorations all for a fraction of the price I could have paid.
Margo - What aspect of planning your wedding are you finding the most difficult?
Alana - It's been the guest list, with a few guests that we felt we had to invite not because we wanted them there, just invited as a matter of family diplomacy.
Margo - I have a similar problem as there's a pride of lions in Borneo who have heavily hinted that they want to come to my big day, and I haven't had the nerve to tell them yet that they're "not getting in".![]()
