Marthas Wedding Preparations

One half of the "MarfyandShauny" tag team, the wonderful (and more than exceptionally tolerant) Martha faces the "Hard Talk" questions from our own Margo T-Monkey.

Margo - Is it sunny where you are?
Marfy - Yes the sun is shining and its a happy day because.... TGI Friday! How does that saying go, "the sun always shines on the righteous"? On a serious note though, why is it that the sunshine makes us so happy? Anyway Margo, how are you?

Margo - Actually now you ask, ...not so good! It's a HOT STUFFY SWEATY day and someone in the WeddingPath office has 'broken wind'. I don't think it's Adri because she's too much of a lady, Kiran's out shopping for handbags (which is why I'm using his terminal), and although Suj is full of enough hot air to be the culprit, my money's on Ant who's been looking a bit sheepish all day.

Martha - Margo... am I allowed to ask you questions back?
Margo - I don't normally allow this - but JUST ONE, go on!
Martha - do you think you'll ever get married?
Margo - That's a good question! I think one of the reasons I founded weddingpath was because I enjoy planning so much - I wanted a site with a name which embodies the whole fun side of weddings. That said, I am STILL waiting for Colin the Donkey to propose to me.
[This talk is really winding up Suj who swears that the site history and naming has nothing to do with a little welsh monkey who's too big for her boots]

Margo - Who is your hero and why?
Martha - It has to be my mum - she is kind, caring, supporting and simply the best. There are not enough words to describe her - but she is my hero as she has time for everyone. My mum left Cyprus when she was just 15 years old, and when she arrived in England with her family (after relocating) she spoke very little English. Her first mission was to learn more. I am very proud to have a mum who has made a career out of being a mum, friend and wife in the most positive way anyone could - thanks mum, your career and initiative/drive has made me the person I am - I am so grateful.
Margo - You know for me, it could be WP's own Ant but I've just discovered that Ant has had CHICKPEA SANDWICHES for lunch...now if I could only get the big window in the office to prize open, that's a lot of hard work for one small monkey...I think I'll open another bottle of Magners instead. Nothing like cider to kill off your sense of smell...

Margo - Are you having Wedding Insurance?
Martha - Yes, but you've just reminded me to get it sorted!!! Too much to lose if we don't have it so its a def must for us - next on my list to sort out.
Margo - Do you know if any of those policies cover "guest protection against wind"? Hmm... I must speak to my friend Tim O'Mara at E&L about that one.

Margo - So Martha, have you ever broken wind and blamed it on someone else ("farted and darted" as we say in the primate world?)
