Kylie to wed? 15454 views

Kylie Minogue was given an £35,000 Flawless cocktail by another VIP at a Brits after show party. A £35,000 cocktail??? - how insane is that, it is more then most couple's wedding budget. Surely there are better things to spend £35,000 on - I bet a lot of charities could of put the money to good use. OK, breath deep Colin.
The cocktail is made up of Louis XII cognac, a half bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, brown sugar, bitters and a few chips of 24-carat edible gold leaf. If you get one, don't swig it back too fast because at the bottom of the glass is an 11-carat diamond ring.
The plot thickens, when Kylie was at the Brits she had a diamond ring on her second finger, and by the time she left the aftershow party it had moved to her fourth finger. This has all led to speculation that she is engaged to ex-boyfriend Olivier Martinez, 42.
Call me Sherlock, but as she had just be given a cocktail with an 11-carat ring in it, do we not think she might just of had to move her 'original' ring to make room for this one? I bet she isn't engaged, but I know she is lovely and I would marry her if Margo would give me the day off work.

Billie Piper's wedding tattoo 15367 views

Billie Piper and husband,, Laurence Fox, got matching 'Wedding' tattoos done whilst on their honeymoon in Mexico. Laurence had 'Mrs Fox 31.12.07' tattooed on his arm and Billie got 'Mr Fox'. I suspect by the time the got to the 'X' in 'Fox' on Billie's arm she had had enough pain, so decided to skip the date. Is it me, or should Billie of had 'Mrs Fox 31.12.07' and Laurence 'Mr Fox' - surely that makes more sense?

Jessica Simpson to wed again? 10690 views

Rumour has it Dukes of Hazzard star Jessica Simpson is going to marry her boyfriend, American football player, Tony Romo. Jessica was previously married to Nick Lachey and they starred in MTV's Newlyweds. It has been suggested by a source close to the singer that it is all a publicity stunt to promote her upcoming country music album. So, if Jessica wants publicity it seems an appropriate time to quote some of her legendary gaffs:
“Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish? I know it's tuna, but it says 'Chicken by the Sea.'”
“I think there's a difference between ditzy and dumb. Dumb is just not knowing. Ditzy is having the courage to ask!”
“On my first day of Jr. High I was in Geography class, and the teacher asked us if anybody knew the names of the continents. And I was sooo excited. I was like, Damnit! It's my first day of 7th grade, Im in jr high and i know this answer. So i raised my hand I was the first one and I said A-E-I-O-U!”
“Twenty-three is old. It's almost 25, which is like almost mid-20s.”
“Jessica: Ooh I love this scent.
Friend: What is it?
Jessica: Ah...oh, it's unscented.”
“'Jessica, you want some buffalo wings?' 'Sorry I don't eat buffalo.'”

Sean Bean ties the knot 8416 views

Yorkshire born Sean Bean tied the knot with girlfriend Georgina Sutcliff, yesterday afternoon. The couple were married at Marylebone Register Office in central London in a quiet ceremony. Sean, aged 48, has been married three times before - so lets hope it is fourth time lucky for him. 29 year old Georgina wore a pale gold top, a black pencil skirt and carried a bouquet of white roses. Sean wore a traditional pin striped suit.
The couple were originally to marry last month, but due to a family illness the wedding was postponed at the last minute. Sean told reporters he felt 'fantastic', before zooming off in a black taxi. -

The challenge was to get as far as they could in 24 hours with just £10. The prize, offered on Surrey's Eagle Radio, was a £10,000 dream wedding with a luxury reception, jewellery, bridal wear, cakes, cars, flowers, photography and a honeymoon trip. The whole package (except the rent-a-guests)!! Stella Morris from Farnham, Surrey won the prize by getting 490 miles away from Eagle Radio's Guildford headquarters by blagging her way to a small fishing village in the North-West Highlands of Scotland. On a tenner! That's pretty impressive going. I want to know how she did it.
Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin are reported to of signed a £2.5 million deal with a magazine for the rights to cover their wedding. I can't help but find this sort of thing distasteful - selling the rights to publicise what is supposed to be a celebration and commitment of love. It seems inevitable that the focus will shift from making the day special for the couple, family and friends to making the day look good for the magazine (we assume either OK or Hello). On top of it, why do we care? Yes, he is good at kicking a ball around a pitch and she is marrying a guy who can kick a ball around a pitch – is that really worth this much attention? My vote is we start supporting, and paying properly, the people that really matter – teachers, nurses, traffic wardens (ok, so maybe not traffic wardens). These are the people who actually make the country a better place. OK, rant over. Anyone for a game of footie – I need to practice my skills so I can get signed.Continues...
