Sometimes traditional is best. But as Jen at Radiance Boutique shows us, even the most classic styles can be given a modern twist.
Jen says 'My best seller this year has been the pearl charm style bracelet (£55), which I believe reflects brides wanting to add a modern twist to their style yet still wearing classic, timeless pearls."If you want some ideas on giving the classic day look a touch of modernity, go to the Radiance Boutique's online style guide. Jen says 'simplicity is key: the classic dress is all about cut and structure'. A classic sweetheart neckline is ultimately flattering, especially teamed up with a full A-line skirt. When it comes to choosing accessories
to go with your dress, you need to pick styles that complement, not overpower it. Jen says, the classic triple pearl bracelet (£35) and earrings (£25) are perfect. And for your hair? Choose a half up and half down style and accessorise with pearl and crystal hair comb (£20).
The collection of earrings, bracelets, necklaces and hair combs at Radiance Boutique is hand crafted with Swarovski crystal and crystal pearls. Individually made to order, each piece is totally unique! -
FASHION Wedding Dress Trends 12592 views

The National Wedding Show at Earl's Court last month gave us all a sneak peek at what's in store for 2009 brides. So here are some of the top trends from the catwalk...

GLAMOROUS
'Oh-so glam' was a strong look on the catwalk at Earl's Court this season. Slinky silhouettes, halter necks and revealing backs were key trends. Luxurious silks, sheeny satins and fabrics with plenty of red-carpet appeal were strutted down the runway getting the look off to a tee. Perfect for evening weddings or even for brides tying the knot overseas, we think 'understated glamour' is a top trend for 2009. WeddingPath brides get ready to turn heads as you walk up the aisle!
PERFECT GRACE
Strapless is here to stay and definitely goes hand in hand with the new sleek glamour. At the same time, the simple strapless look is being dressed up with this season's love of frills. Layers of ruffles, tulle and net create must-have detail. Feast your eyes on pattern, texture and intricate detailing!
UNDERCOVER
Glamour is given a touch of sophistication with gorgeous shrugs, boleros and wraps to drape around bare-shouldered brides. Lacy boleros are right on trend - ideal if you want a little bit of 'cover-up' for the ceremony.Images © National Wedding Shows

Jennifer Scott of ‘Bespoken For’ reveals her secrets to buying perfect wedding day jewellery at the same time as staying on budget.
Choosing your wedding day jewellery is just as special as finding your dream dress. So take time to find a jewellery designer who can give you advice - and who is prepared to design within your budget. Many designers offer no obligation advice and consultations so be sure to check them out.
Your wedding day tiara is not going to get much use after the big day, so consider alternatives such as hair combs or other hair accessories. You'll find pearls and crystals look great in your hair even with everyday jeans. And of course, there are always special occasions where a tiara may not fit the bill, but a hair comb does!
If you don’t want to keep your tiara, have it made into something else. If your tiara is made with beads and crystals, a jeweller can make it into something wearable after the day, like a necklace, earrings, or a bracelet. Some tiara and jewellery designers offer this service.
Finally, shop around. Look through magazines and websites so that you have a clear idea of what you want. A jewellery designer can probably make your dream come true - and you'll still be on budget!
