The Invitations
o The invitation can be used to set the tone of the wedding and give guests a feel for what to expect on the special day.
o Using creative objects can be original and more intriguing, such as an olive tree or flip flops for a wedding abroad. Teasers such as these will hold meaning for you and your guests and can be kept as a memento for years to come.
o For a less traditional wedding (especially abroad when there are a lot of details to give), direct guests to your personal wedding website where they can RSVP, find directions, the wedding list and any other important details. It is also useful after the wedding to view the photographs.
Drink
o Freeze your champagne glasses beforehand so everyone’s first sip is crisp.
o Magnums of champagne look generous and can actually aid service.
o Instead of a palette cleanser, serve ‘course cocktails’, a chic and imaginative way to create the party spirit.
The Food
