Your Week 23-28 Feb 1447 views

Welcome to another exciting week at WeddingPath. We hope that you have been making use of the new fact sheets on the home page and that you'll continue to check out our daily wedding news - this week we also have a fab real wedding in Australia!
To start the week, we want to share all that we saw at the Designer Wedding Show on Friday before last. Ok, so it is not for everyone's budget, but it is a great source of wedding inspiration. Tomorrow we are looking forward to a real wedding down under, sharing Shadan's big day in sunny Sydney. On Wednesday, we talk to make-up artist Louise Walsh about 'boudoir shoots' and why they are getting so much attention. Our venue this week is in the hilly highlands, Knock Castle in Scotland - totally romantic. And we end the week with a hot pot that is so weddingy-white you'll love to put it on your gift list.

REVIEW True Love Story 2583 views

We've had a sneak peek at the latest big flick romance, The Young Victoria, out on 6th March. A gripping love story, it is a bride-to-be must-see with Rupert Friend as a dashing Prince Albert and Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) playing a youthful Queen Victoria.
Showing us a side of Queen Victoria that never made the history books, The Young Victoria tells the story of the heir-to-be's secluded childhood and her determination to reach the throne of England and to be Queen. Superbly portrayed by Emily Blunt, Victoria is young, headstrong and stubborn in her resolution to make a difference to her country. Spanning her first turbulent years as Queen, the plot pivots on her fiery love for Albert and his loyal esteem for her.
As Emily puts it, ‘There’s a big journey to play with her from this young, rather stubborn teenager to a rather magnetic queen very much in command of herself.’ She adds, ‘But I’m loving her.’ Perfectly cast in their roles,
Emily says Rupert Friend ‘has morphed into this character completely’. The film also boasts Paul Bettany, Jim Broadbent and Miranda Richardson. Beautiful filming adds to the captivating splendour of each and every moment with stunning costumes and a line up of jaw-dropping heritage venues. A magical, period love story, this is a truly romantic film, not to be missed. To get a taster of the film, go to theyoungvictoria.co.uk.

To start the week, we have reviewed new film out next month, The Young Victoria. It is the perfect pre-wedding romance with a dashing Rupert Friend as Prince Albert and Emma Blunt playing a young, in-love Queen Victoria. Tomorrow we get together with a professional speech writer to bring some top tips for the groom (or anyone making a speech!) on combating speech-time nerves. Our honeymoon article this weeks is eco-friendly and can be set up as a gift list. On Thursday, we've celebrity snippets with lots of hot affairs to catch up on. To end the week, we look into the option of hiring vintage china for a stunning 'afternoon-tea-themed' reception.
